Since 1990 the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has banned items from being thrown into the trash. Most recently (as of November 1, 2022) textiles and mattresses and box springs were added to the list of items which should not be thrown in the trash. Here are the best ways for Hudson residents to easily dispose of these items via recycling and composting.
