Celebrate Earth Day at the Hudson Public Library

Hudson Earth Day Events April 18 & 22

The Hudson Public Library, Hudson High School Environmental Club, and Green Hudson invite you to join their Hudson Earth Day Events!  The themes for this year’s Earth Day are Climate Change, Plastic Reduction, Recycling and the Zero Waste Hudson Festival!! 

Stop by the Hudson Library on Tuesday April 18, 6:30 – 7:30 and Saturday April 22, 10 – 1:30!

Tuesday evening at 6:30 there will be a presentation by Per Gyllstrom of Green Hudson about Clean Energy.  On Saturday, there  will be numerous activities for families both outside and inside the library.  Per will reprise his presentation followed by Jeanette Millard discussing a Climate Plan for Hudson and Brian White presenting “How We Got Here” a climate history and tips for individual actions to address climate change.  

Award winning storyteller Elisa Pearmain will present “Earth Care” on Saturday at 10:00, in the Children’s library,

Residents will be able to learn about home energy audits and rebates from Mass Save and Hudson Light and Power. 

In addition there will be outside children’s clean energy educational activities and a display of electric vehicles, electric lawn mower, induction stove and other energy saving devices.
