Green Hudson Opposition to the Intel-Portman Project

Green Hudson voted on Sunday, September 18th to officially oppose the Intel-Portman Project.  The unanimous decision was based on the grounds that the distribution center would have a significant negative environmental impact on Hudson.  Negative impacts include an increase in fine particulate matter that can cause asthma and other respiratory conditions, noise pollution, and an increase in climate heating carbon dioxide emissions.

In solidarity with the communities surrounding the Intel property, Green Hudson encourages residents to attend the upcoming Planning Board meeting and wear black articles of clothing.  The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 7 PM, at the Hudson High School.

Green Hudson will review all public submissions and identify opportunities to express fact based opposition to the Intel-Portman project.
