Fees:
- Kitchen Trash Bags (up to 20 gallons) – $1.00 per bag
- Standard Trash Bags (up to 30 gallons) – $2.00 per bag
- Large Trash Bags (up to 40 gallons) – $3.00 per bag
- Rates for barrels of trash and other items which can not be put in the trash
Recycling:
The Recycling Drop-off area (on the right on the exit road leading back to Cox Street) is open during the Transfer Station’s hours of operation. There are separate bins for plastic, metal, glass, mixed paper, cardboard, textiles, yard waste, and Styrofoam. Here are the latest guidelines for recycling at the Transfer Station.
The Styrofoam recycling is only open on Saturdays, and the Swap Shed is only open on the first and third Saturday of each month. DO NOT drop off Styrofoam or swap shed items at other times. They will be thrown into the trash.
